Grasslands Flower Co. is a small floral practice based in Calgary, Alberta. It began as a way of staying close to the landscape — to the grasses, the seasons, and the quiet shifts that happen over time. I grew up in the Alberta Grasslands, where my love for flowers started early. Not in gardens, but in what was already growing — wild, wind-shaped, and often overlooked. My background is in painting, but over time my work moved toward living materials — flowers, plants, and the spaces they inhabit. For the past decade, I’ve worked as a florist and gardener. My approach is guided by what is available, what is local, and what feels in rhythm with the time of year.
